Boeing 767

Boeing 767

Since its inaugural flight in 1982, the Boeing 767 jet family has flown more than 16.2 million flights. In 1985, the 767 became the first twin-engined aircraft to be granted FAA approval for extended overseas flights. Renowned for its long range, the 767 makes more Atlantic trips than any other aircraft. Despite its narrow fuselage, the 767′s high density configuration can seat up to 300 passengers (one of the highest in its class), while customized 767 iterations are typically redesigned to seat around 50 passengers. Thoughtfully conceived interiors are perfectly suited to everything from company road shows to corporate events, international sports tournaments, or multinational forums. Cabin space is judiciously allocated for business seminars, entertainment, and relaxation. Reclining seats, a bar/dining area, and swanky bathrooms bring versatility, comfort, and convenience to the transatlantic experience.

Boeing 727

The midsize Boeing 727 is one of the most successful jets in operation, a reliable and versatile powerhouse that forms the core of many airline fleets. Ideal for short and mid-range journeys, the 747 seats up to 80 people with a standard commercial formation, or between 18 and 30 passengers when reconfigured for the private jet charter market. Renowned for its unique ability to utilize small runways while still flying mid-range routes, the 727′s many virtues are championed by airline companies worldwide. A true veteran, some 1,240 Boeing 727s were manufactured between 1963 and 1984, the majority of which remain in full service. With three Pratt & Whitney JT8D engines, the 727 is Boeing’s only trijet plane. The 727 is one of Zephyr Jets’ most popular charters in the jumbo category, praised for impressive speed, takeoff weight, gigantic baggage capacity, and opulent VIP cabin, which features state-of-the-art entertainment systems, a dining area, three plush bathrooms, and even a wet bar.

Airbus

Airbus

Airbus, the commercial airline manufacturer, has spread its wings quite literally with the ultra-long-range Airbus A319 Corporate Jetliner (A319CJ). It’s certainly a winning formula: a tried and tested aircraft that marries all the benefits of a commercial jet—performance, endurance, and speed—with the convenience, security, and VIP trappings of a luxury corporate jet. Equipped with four fuel tanks and the most technically advanced navigation systems in the industry, the A319 has a range of 6,800 miles. While the commercial A319 jet can seat up to 300, the extravagant, retrofitted Airbus rendition can be configured to accommodate between 18 and 30 passengers. Most custom cabins showcase swanky living rooms and/or bedrooms, enclosed office spaces, and multiple bathrooms equipped with showers. If you’ve got it, flaunt it. Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud’s rather pricey Airbus ($500 million) features a two-car garage, stables for his camels and horses, and a rotating prayer room.
